For years, I wore achievement like armour im the first in my family to go to uni. I did a law degree, over-achieved in my corporate career getting a promotion every time i went for it getting 2 promotions in 4 years, over-achieving in my qualifications doing more than what was needed for my role.
The high-performer, the dependable one, the woman who always figured it out.
Im the oldest sister, and grew up quickly as i took on the nurturing and caring role looking out for my younger sister when playing.
Being toxily (made up this word hahahaa) self-efficient because i couldnt ask for help with my homework as it went over my parents head, and i learnt that love came from being the one that had it all together - enter rescuing mode.
I could manifest, strategise, and execute with precision… but I couldn’t feel peace.
The more I succeeded, the more disconnected I became from the woman who had once dreamed it all into existence.
Then came the quiet breakdown the one no one sees because it looks like “having it all.” the one where you start to retreat and wear duller clothes, the colour drains from your life bit by bit.
That moment when your nervous system whispers this isn’t alignment anymore… and your soul starts craving something softer.
So, I stopped.
I chose stillness over strategy. Breath over busyness. Frequency over force.
